She is a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT), and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She also has specialized training in Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy with TheraPsil, and is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy through EMDR Consulting.
Amanda holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counselling from Acadia University, and has over 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health & addictions. She works with adults (18+), either individually or in pairs.

Her therapy style is holistic and integrative; seeing the person as a whole and utilizing multiple therapies to understand and address the complexities of each
