This 15 min discovery call is a chance for you to better understand our integrative care model, ask questions, and take the first step to taking control of your health and wellness journey.
Our registered nurse Amy Debaie will be able to answer any questions you may have on our Holos intake, pathways, pricing and programs.

Holos recognizes that the experiencing of connection and feeling supported and seen by a community of peers is an essential ingredient for health and healing.
Holos has specifically designed small groups as a mechanism by which we can begin to create small meaningful communities of healing.
These safe, mini tribes are designed around common themes, beliefs and intentions, and are a special opportunity to practice authenticity and presence with others.

Our group based model also keeps access to integrative and functional medicine affordable, as we are able to bill these group sessions under MSI. Nova Scotia Medical Services Insurance (MSI) is the provincial plan of insured medical services.

Amanda Grinter

Amanda Grinter is licensed both provincially and nationally. She is a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT), and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She also has specialized training in Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy with TheraPsil, and is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy through EMDR Consulting.

Amanda holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counselling from Acadia University, and has over 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health & addictions. She works with adults (18+), either individually or in pairs.

When it comes to her therapeutic approach, Amanda believes that much of our human distress and suffering comes from the disconnection from, or absence of meaning, purpose and significance in our lives. This leads her to have an existential view about many things.
